AR|CO Design studio was founded by sole architect Arielle Abdilla in 2012. In 2008, Perit Arielle Abdilla graduated from the University of Malta with an Honours degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering after which she worked on several projects for the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs. Also in 2008, she joined a small experienced architectural firm where she was exposed to and worked on numerous projects from concept to construction. In 2009 she left Malta to pursue her passion for Interior Design in Milan, Italy. She read for a Masters Degree at the Politecnico di Milano, through the Scuola Politecnica di Design. In Milan she also joined a renowned Architectural firm, ASA Studio Albanese, where she was responsible for concepts, visuals and presentations of various projects. After returning from Milan, she has been constantly seeking to emerge and fuse both professions together; where the core and bold architecture reflects the intellectual interior spaces and design. This lead to the establishment of her own studio in 2012, AR|CO Design Studio, where architecture and interiors blend into one harmoniously.
